1. Overview

TweetTale (the "Service") is an app for tracking parrot health and connecting with a bird community.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected during your use of the Service and how it is handled.

4. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

All data is stored on Supabase servers (located in the United States). Row-level security (RLS) ensures each user can only access their own data. The service_role key is never used on the client side.

Authentication is handled via Google Sign-In.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties except as required by law.

4-1. Ads and Affiliate Content (Community)

TweetTale may display reviewed direct ads or affiliate ads within the community.

• Ads are clearly labeled (e.g., "Ad", "Sponsored", "Partner content", "Affiliate link").
• Ads are never shown on health, emergency, hospital, or vet-report screens.
• Ad impression records, click records, and user-submitted reports may be stored on our own Supabase.
• For logged-in users, ad interaction records may be linked to your account ID, and are used only for ad quality management and abuse prevention. They are not sold or shared with third parties.
• The Service currently does not use third-party ad networks (e.g., AdMob) or an advertising identifier (Ad ID).
• Opening an external ad link means the external site's own privacy policy applies.
• If third-party ad networks or an Ad ID are introduced in the future, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety form and provide separate notice.

5. Public Community Information

Only your community nickname, avatar, posts, and comments are publicly visible. Sensitive information such as your email address and UID is never exposed in public community views.

You may request deletion of your account and data using any of the following methods.

In-app request

1. Open the TweetTale app.
2. Go to the My Nest tab.
3. Tap Profile Settings.
4. Under the Danger Zone section, tap Request account deletion.
5. Select a reason, confirm, and submit your request.

Web or email request

Deletion requests are not processed automatically. They are reviewed by our team and processed within 7 business days. Data cannot be recovered after deletion is completed.

9. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (14 in South Korea). If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data promptly.

10. Policy Updates

When this policy is updated, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email.
